The Team
Trilogy is a small, founder-led practice that has spent twenty-six years shaping the most ambitious homes in the Colorado Rockies — carefully, deliberately, one detail at a time, with boots on the ground and eyes on the sky.

CEO, Owner & Director of Design · PMM Master
Michael founded Trilogy in 2000 with a question more than an answer: what would homebuilding look like if a builder treated the home the way a filmmaker treats a film — designed in full before a single frame is captured, refined relentlessly in iteration, and brought into the world with the same crew from first conversation to final cut?
That question has shaped every Trilogy project since. The 3D modeling discipline that defines the practice today emerged from that filmmaker’s instinct — a belief that the most expensive surprises happen in construction, and the only way to prevent them is to build the home virtually first: every room, every detail, before construction begins.
Twenty-six years and many homes later, Michael still personally designs every project — and is still present on every home he shepherds.
Trilogy is intentionally small. Every person you’ll meet on a project has been chosen for the way they treat the craft — and for the way they treat the people Trilogy works for.

Twenty-six years of building in the Colorado Rockies has earned Trilogy a quiet shelf of recognition — from national press to the homes our peers have honored.

Most of the families Trilogy works for stay in touch for years — long after they’ve moved in. Here is some of what they’ve said.
“The best builders I have ever worked with, by far. I have built three custom homes, and their thoroughness, attention to detail, and expertise were beyond our expectations.”Nancy Spears · Silverthorne, Colorado
“Trilogy completed the work by the date agreed — and moreover, they came in under budget. Trilogy is there to supervise whenever a subcontractor is doing any work.”Jeff Opo · Breckenridge, Colorado
“My husband calls from London where we live as expats. He asks the same question each time he calls: ‘Do you like my house?’ In my high-pitched happy voice I reply: ‘No, I LOVE IT.’”The Dailey Family · Breckenridge, Colorado
Three homes, three different reasons to trust the same masterminds.
