We are looking forward to the official start of the holiday season, or Victorian Holidays, here in Breckenridge with the Lighting of Breckenridge. We love this time of year when Breckenridge is turned into what Summit Concierge calls a “holiday postcard, complete with wreaths, garland, and lights galore.”
The fun begins at noon for some ornament painting at Ready, Paint, Fire on North Main Street followed by FREE hot cocoa, cookies and caroling at Subway. Then the real party begins with the arrival of Santa Claus at 5pm in his horse-drawn carriage, he left the reindeers at home to rest up for the big day. Santa will lead the procession to Blue River Plaza for the lighting of Town Tree. Santa will stay around for a bit to take some photos with the little ones. Hope to see you there!
